About Us

What is a Recovery Coach?

A Recovery Coach serves as a motivator and a cheerleader, an ally, a confidant, a role model and a mentor, a problem solver, an advocate, a resource broker, a lifestyle consultant and sometimes just someone to talk to!

Our recovery coaches are educated, professional, experienced and care about your recovery. They provide peer recovery support services to individuals with substance use disorder and/or co-occurring diagnosis and assist and support them in achieving sustained recovery. Recovery coaches facilitate access to recovery-oriented substance use disorder treatment, resources and community recovery events, helps remove personal and environmental obstacles to recovery and serve as a recovery guide and companion for those seeking or are interested in sustaining recovery. They are there to encourage hope, optimism, and healthy living.

  • What a Recovery Coach is not:
  •  A sponsor
  •  A counselor
  •  A nurse and/ or a doctor
  •  A Lawyer
  •  A priest/minister/rabbi
